2016 was not just any election year. The campaign was fanatical with two unusual voices booming and looming with promises of change.
Bernie Sanders campaigned on behalf of the Democrats even though he’s an independent, “You’ve got the top 400 Americans owning more wealth than the bottom 150 million Americans. Most folks do not think that is right.”
Donald Trump was the favorite Republican, “That’s one of the nice things. I mean, part of the beauty of me is that I’m very rich. So if I need $600 million, I can put $600 million myself. That’s a huge advantage. I must tell you, that’s a huge advantage over the other candidates.”
Who do you think won the election that year? Do you think the American people chose to elect Sanders or did they vote for Trump? Did the votes go to the man fighting for financial equality, the democratic socialist, or did the people choose the rich corporate tycoon to lead them? Which of the two candidates do you feel have a better understanding of money and wealth? Who would you be more likely to hire as a financial consultant?
