When people ask me how much senior pictures cost I tell them, “That depends on what you intend to buy.”

The session fee pays for the time and talent of the photographer and photographer team. A STANDARD SENIOR SESSION is one hour of shooting time, two hours of image processing and post production, and then, a two-hour PICTURE PREMIER, which is the appointment for narrowing down your images and finalizing your package choice.

(A standard senior session is a 5 hour investment of time even though the session itself is only an hour. The session fee allows one artist to make $30 an hour for the work they do and time I invested.)

This photo shoot started at Stadium and finished along the Ruston Way Waterfront in Tacoma. Our Senior Stunner is the perfect session for the senior who wants to shine and showcase the best looks and locations.
Your session and locations should showcase the best of who you are. The Botanical Gardens in Bellevue and a photo shoot at her favorite swim practice pool. We will help you plan your session during your consultation.

Our Signature Edits are the best of the best of what we do here at A Smile Like Yours Seniors. They are time and attention to detail. They are refinement and polish. The are artful and professional.

Signature Edits typically take between 15-30 minutes per individual pose. This is not an automated process or a quick action. Your image will be created by a digital artist. This is the reason we limit the amount of Signature Edits we include per package. The amount of Signature Edits will vary depending on the package you choose.

  • All wall portraits should and will include a Signature Edit. This includes our Vivid Metal Collage and Watercolor Paper Torn-Edge Shadow Box.
  • Most people order between 3 and 10 Signature Edits. We will help you narrow down your image selection at your Picture Premier.

THE MINI SESSION $75: One Outfit. 30 minutes 

Our mini session is a little bit of everything right. You will have the choice of either an in-studio session, or we can go outdoor; on-location. This session is perfect for those times you’d like new pictures but do not want to go overboard, and that’s an easy thing to do at A Smile Like Yours Photography.  You are going to LOVE your pictures!

THE EXCEPTIONAL STANDARD $150: THREE-FOUR OUTFITS. 1 HOUR 

This session is the perfect booking for those who understand the value of taking the time to do things right, and includes the added benefit of more choice. You have the advantage of choosing more than one location, time for wardrobe changes, and three times as many poses to choose from!

A SMILE LIKE YOURS PHOTO SHOOT TIMELINE 5 WEEKS

Each of our bookings are an investment of five weeks. The first week we will take your portraits and then a few days after that you will return to the studio to view your proofs and place your order. We do not offer online proofing and ordering. We do have proofs books available for sale. Your order will go into the digital enhancement and graphic design stage of production soon after you choose your package and make your first payment. Please allow four weeks for the creation of your portrait order.

ORDERING SESSION 1-2 HOURS

SESSIONS RATES/DEPOSIT

Your booking deposit is due at the time you reserve your session and is the amount of your chosen session (Mini $75-Full $150). Please have your credit card ready when you call to book. 360.701.9204 Your deposit is nonrefundable. We are happy to issue a studio credit for cancellations providing that we are notified by phone or email 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session. No shows and last minute cancellations may result in the forfeiture of your deposit with no service rendered.

PACKAGE PAYMENT OPTIONS

You are welcome to pay for your chosen portrait package in two parts. We ask that you pay half of your order total at the time you place your order. You will not receive any part of your order until your balance is paid in full. We gladly accept cash and credit for payment. We do not take checks.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Your order will go into the digital enhancement and graphic design stage of production soon after you choose your package and make your first payment. Due to the nature and time invested in the creation of your product we do not offer refunds or allow cancellations once an order has been placed. All editing requests will be written and agreed to at the time your order is placed. If you are not satisfied with a final edit on your image please let us know right away. Of course we will gladly make any revisions you need. Yes! You can request to approve your edits before printing.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

Our production time is four weeks. We will call you on the fourth week to schedule your pick up appointment. Yes! We do offer rush service and drop ship delivery. Ask for rates.

WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY PICTURES?

Week five! J Our pick-ups are by appointment only. We will call to schedule you and check in on week four.

WILL YOU POST A PREVIEW ON FACEBOOK?

Yes! If you signed a model release we will gladly post a debut sample of your portrait order.
